Last week Tuesday we had youth day together with T.L.CÂ WHERE OVER 150 under privileged children joine
us at the west beach beach christian church in tableview for an all day fun filled activity program,
We started of with face painting for some of the younger children,while others were enjoying the jumping castles while getting to decorate the own cookies with treats of their choice, then the games began where teams from different areas got to show of their football skills to compete to get into the finals where prizes were handed out to the winning team.
There were demonstrators there to show the kids life skills on how to handle themselves in different situations.
At about 4 in the afternoon the kids got dinner and then got ready for our own version of 'IDOLS'
where they got to make up their own songs and dances, where prizes were handed out in different categories
from best female singer to best dance groups, every 1 had great fun with the idols competition.
We ended the afternoon with giving each child their own goodie bag for them to take home.
The kids really enjoyed themselves and appreciated every moment of their day,
we like to say a big thank you to all the sponsors and people who came to help and set everything up
and put every thing in play.
