From cold days to chilly mornings with sunny, warm afternoons, Cape Town is finally beginning to see signs of summer. No more need for a warm blazing fire, rather go sit on the beach in the warm sun and watch the surfers do their thing. The hostel is changing with seasons too... The bathrooms are being renovated and look amazing, rooms are getting fresh coats of paint, and new 'en suite' rooms are being added!
At the moment, learning Danish seems like a good idea. SaltyCrax is home to about thirteen Danes at the moment, and most are even from the same city in Denmark! Other guests and volunteers staying with us are from America, England, Canada, and Holland, and Norway. We have a pretty full house at the moment because it's a big time for volunteers, but we love it, the more the merrier!
