DAY 1
You are met at the airport and taken to the 4 star SaltyCrax Backpackers in Table View. The hostel is within walking distance from Kite Beach, transport terminals, restaurants, bars and shops.
Early arrivals can spend the day either on a tour through the Cape Town city centre (optional extra) or simply relaxing on beautiful white beaches with picturesque views of Table Mountain.
At 5pm everyone meets at SaltyCrax for Orientation and a traditional South African BBQ around the fire. After the good meal, roll down to the local bars and pubs to spend the night at leisure.
DAY 2 ONWARDS
We chase the wind at any of 20 kitesurfing spots along the coast from Pringle Bay to Muizenberg and from Kite Beach to Melkboss and Langebaan. We may get lucky at several mountain lakes. The action is not limited to one kitesurfing beach in Cape Town.
All the work, other than the actual kitesurfing, is done for you - the day’s plans, preparations and driving. All you have to do is show up and kite.
Kitesurfing with a group is safer and more fun than kitesurfing alone. You also get a 2 hour group lesson daily with helmet radio communications.
Accommodation can be upgraded to doubles
or en suites at your own expense.
This tour is weather dependent and may
need to be lengthened for completion. If the
full course is not completed the balance of
the course will be refunded.
