Do you have a love for the sun, the sea and sports?
Kitesurfing is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. Kite beach in Table View, is one of the ‘Mecca’s’ for all kitesurfers, from beginners to the pro kitesurfers.

In South Africa poverty is a reality. There are a number of townships in close proximity to Table View. Children from these townships, many with great promise, spend their weekends in the townships surrounded by bad elements and the negative influences of peer pressure.

A volunteer will become a mentor for a child and will teach the child how to swim, the basics of kitesurfing and how to work with the equipment.
If you have no idea how to kitesurf, you will learn the skills of this wonderful sport at Kite Beach.

After finishing training, the child will receive a card allowing him or her to help other tourists and kitesurfers with setting up their equipment and watching over their belongings. This will create a weekend job for the child and a chance to for them to get involved in kitesurfing. Who knows, the kid you teach may become the next world champ?

No experience is necessary. Qualified kitesurfers will receive a discount off their package.

Accommodation can be upgraded to a private room .
The length of stay can also be altered according to the volunteer’s needs.
Visas and insurances are the responsibility of the volunteer. 
A police clearance certificate is essential.
